Several Argentines were present at the Wynn Las Vegas for the conclusion of a tournament that awarded millions of dollars and included thousands of players from all over the globe. The game provided the highest guaranteed prize pool in the history of live poker.
Like Federico Cirelli, an Argentinean living in Italy who traveled to Sin City to win the WPT’s Mistery Bounty tournament, which attracted 3,700 players and cost each of them $1,500 to enter.
Cirelli received more than $485,000 in prize money and an exquisite trophy for his efforts. Rosario’s own Cristian Stival finished 32nd in this competition.
